The development includes lateral, mezzanine and duplex apartments fronting onto eight acres of magnificent private resident’s gardens and the 410 acres of Regent’s Park. The exciting and bold vision to carefully convert and meticulously restore the Royal crescent back into its original role as one of London’s most prestigious residential addresses was a fantastic opportunity for Raccord to showcase the varied and diverse skillset we have.

With apartments boasting large lateral living spaces, generous ceiling heights and state of the art specification and technology, this project was managed day to day by Brin Taylor who personally oversaw the installation of over 90,000 meters of control cabling - making these apartments some of the most cutting edge in electrical design in the capital.  

Key challenges 

We are used to working to tight tolerances and with clients who expect perfection and this project was no different. With an architectural tolerance of two millimetres throughout, this meant there was no room for error in setting out and installing. Brin and the team managed to complete this production successfully even with these challenges and we have been approached by the client to negotiate the next stage of the project. Repeat work is a huge part of our business and we take pride in the fact that the majority of our work comes from existing clients.
